Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this esteemed position, applicants must meet the following stringent criteria:

• Flight Time:

  • A minimum total of 140 hours of actual flight time on fixed-wing aircraft, coupled with the successful completion of an integrated ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License) theory course.
  • Alternatively, a total of 200 hours of actual flight time on fixed-wing aircraft, with CPL/IR (Commercial Pilot License/Instrument Rating) training completed through a modular system.
  • Note: Flight time accrued on ultra-light aircraft, power gliders, simulators, and helicopters is explicitly excluded from the total flight time calculation.

• Recent Flight Experience:

  Candidates are preferably expected to have logged their last flight within the preceding six months. Flexibility on this requirement may be considered due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.

• Licenses and Ratings:

  Possession of the following valid licenses and ratings is mandatory:

  • Frozen ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License)
  • IR (Instrument Rating)
  • MCC (Multi-Crew Cooperation) Certificate
  • ME (Multi-Engine) Rating
  • UPRT (Upset Prevention and Recovery Training) Certificate

• License Authority:

  Applicants must hold a valid pilot license issued by either the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) or the UK Civil Aviation Authority (UK CAA).

• Medical Certificate:

  A valid Class 1 Medical Certificate is required.

• English Language Proficiency:

  A minimum ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP) level 4 is essential.

• Type Rating:

  No prior type rating is required, as comprehensive type rating training will be provided to successful candidates.

• COVID-19 Vaccination Status:

  Vaccination status is not specified as a requirement for this role.
