Wizz Air seeks highly motivated candidates for a rewarding career in aviation. Successful applicants will possess the following qualifications:
A minimum of 140 hours of actual flight time on fixed-wing aircraft is required. This requirement may be fulfilled by either: 140 hours of flight time with completed integrated ATPL theory; or 200 hours of flight time with completed CPL/IR training in a modular system. Ultra-light aircraft, power glider, simulator, and helicopter hours are excluded. While preference is given to candidates with a flight within the last six months, this is not a strict requirement in light of the impact of COVID-19.
Candidates must hold a Frozen ATPL, Instrument Rating (IR), Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC), Multi-Engine (ME) rating, and Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT) certifications. Licenses issued by EASA or the UK CAA are acceptable. A Class 1 medical certificate is mandatory. ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP) level 4 is required. COVID-19 vaccination status is not a specified requirement. Type rating is not a prerequisite; comprehensive training will be provided.
