Job Title: Pilot in Command (PIC) – Gulfstream V (GV)

Role Overview
The Pilot in Command is responsible for the safe operation of the Gulfstream V (GV) aircraft. The successful candidate will ensure the safety of all passengers, crew, and the aircraft while maintaining compliance with Wing Aviation policies and Federal Aviation Regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-flight inspections in accordance with the approved aircraft flight manual.
- Review aircraft maintenance status and ensure airworthiness.
- Perform thorough checks of weather conditions and facilities along planned routes and alternate airports.
- Maintain operational compliance with 14 CFR 91 and 14 CFR 135 operations.
- Ensure all trip paperwork is completed accurately and in accordance with established procedures.
- Uphold the highest standards of safety, transparency, and customer service.
Candidate Qualifications
Certifications and Licenses
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.
- Valid First-Class Medical Certificate.
- Gulfstream V (GV) PIC Type Rating.
Experience Requirements
- Total Flight Time: 3,500 hours (PIC).
- Multi-Engine Land: 1,500 hours (PIC).
- Multi-Engine: 500 hours (PIC).
- Instrument: 300 hours (PIC).
- Turbine Engine: 500 hours (PIC).
- Time in Type (GV): 200 hours (PIC).
- Documented transatlantic flight experience.
Skills and Abilities
- Strong proactive decision-making and organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service orientation.
- Ability to operate within an evolving regulatory environment.
- Must reside within a two-hour call-out radius of the Houston base. Local candidates with current ratings are preferred.
