Job Title: Pilot in Command (PIC) – Gulfstream V (GV)

Role Overview

The Pilot in Command is responsible for the safe operation of the Gulfstream V (GV) aircraft. The successful candidate will ensure the safety of all passengers, crew, and the aircraft while maintaining compliance with Wing Aviation policies and Federal Aviation Regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct pre-flight inspections in accordance with the approved aircraft flight manual.
  • Review aircraft maintenance status and ensure airworthiness.
  • Perform thorough checks of weather conditions and facilities along planned routes and alternate airports.
  • Maintain operational compliance with 14 CFR 91 and 14 CFR 135 operations.
  • Ensure all trip paperwork is completed accurately and in accordance with established procedures.
  • Uphold the highest standards of safety, transparency, and customer service.

Candidate Qualifications

Certifications and Licenses

  • FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.
  • Valid First-Class Medical Certificate.
  • Gulfstream V (GV) PIC Type Rating.

Experience Requirements

  • Total Flight Time: 3,500 hours (PIC).
  • Multi-Engine Land: 1,500 hours (PIC).
  • Multi-Engine: 500 hours (PIC).
  • Instrument: 300 hours (PIC).
  • Turbine Engine: 500 hours (PIC).
  • Time in Type (GV): 200 hours (PIC).
  • Documented transatlantic flight experience.

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong proactive decision-making and organizational skills.
  • Excellent customer service orientation.
  • Ability to operate within an evolving regulatory environment.
  • Must reside within a two-hour call-out radius of the Houston base. Local candidates with current ratings are preferred.
