Wing Aviation is seeking a qualified Second in Command (SIC) to join their team and operate a Gulfstream IV (GIV) aircraft based in Henderson, Nevada (KHND). This role is integral to ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft and delivering exceptional service to discerning clients.

About the Role

The Second in Command (SIC) will be responsible for the safe operation of the GIV aircraft, meticulously reviewing its maintenance status, and conducting thorough pre-flight inspections in accordance with the aircraft flight manual. Key duties include verifying weather conditions and airport facilities along the flight path and at alternate airports, ensuring strict adherence to Wing Aviation procedures and Federal Aviation Regulations, and prioritizing the safety of passengers, aircraft, and crew. Accurate completion of all trip paperwork is also a critical responsibility. Wing Aviation fosters a culture of safety and service excellence, emphasizing transparency and precision.

Requirements

• FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate with a First-Class Medical.
• GIV Type Rating is required.
• Minimum of 2,500 total flight hours.
• Minimum of 500 hours in Multi-Engine Land aircraft.
• Minimum of 200 hours of Instrument time.
• Minimum of 200 hours in Turbine Engine aircraft.
• Minimum of 200 hours Time in Type (GIV).
• Ability to maintain a valid First-Class Medical certificate.
• Proficiency in making proactive decisions and setting priorities.
• Strong organizational skills.
• A commitment to upholding high service standards in a dynamic regulatory environment.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge of and ability to comply with 14 CFR Part 91 and 14 CFR Part 135 Operations, FAA Regulations, Aircraft Flight and Equipment manuals, and other relevant flight information.
• Candidates residing within a two-hour call-out radius of the aircraft's base in Henderson, NV, are preferred.

Qualifications

• FAA ATP Certificate with First Class Medical.
• GIV Type Rating.
• Appropriate SIC Type Rating.
• Valid First-Class Medical Certificate for ATP privileges.
