Essential Qualifications and Requirements
Candidates are expected to possess a robust set of credentials and skills to be considered for this role. The minimum requirements include:
- License Requirements: A valid Frozen ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot Licence) is mandatory, along with an Instrument Rating (IR), Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) certificate, Multi-Engine (ME) rating, and an Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT) qualification.
- License Holder Eligibility: Applications are welcomed from individuals holding EASA (European Union Aviation Safety Agency) licenses.
- Flight Time Experience: Proficiency in Performance-Based Navigation (PBN) is a key requirement.
- Medical Certification: A current Class 1 medical certificate is essential.
- English Language Proficiency: Candidates must demonstrate an ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP) level of 4 or above.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in at least one Scandinavian language, at level 4 or above, is required.
- Travel Eligibility: A valid passport is a prerequisite.
- Educational Background: A high school diploma, or an equivalent educational qualification, is necessary.
