Job Summary

Western Aircraft, Inc. is seeking a professional Pilot-in-Command for its Honolulu, Hawaii base. The primary function of this role is to serve as Pilot-in-Command for operations among the Hawaiian Islands, piloting meticulously maintained Pilatus PC-12-47E aircraft.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as Pilot-in-Command or second pilot (when required) on Pilatus PC-12-47E aircraft.
  • Comply with all company procedures, FAA regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Assist with day-to-day flight operations.
  • Deliver exemplary service to guests and clients.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate (Required).
  • 2,000 hours total flight time (Required).
  • 350 hours turbine time (Required).
  • 100 hours complex time (Preferred).
  • Prior 14 CFR Part 135 experience (Required).
  • Pilatus PC-12 experience (Preferred).
  • Hawai’i inter-island flight experience (Preferred).
  • First-class medical certificate (Required).
  • Must reside in Honolulu, Hawaii.
  • 16 days/month commitment (active/reserve).
  • Ability to work shifts including weekends, holidays, and overnight stays.
  • Demonstrated professional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to project professionalism in manner and appearance.

Prerequisites

  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Ability to obtain an airport-issued security badge.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

Work is primarily performed outside of an office environment in varying weather conditions with a moderate noise level. Duties are performed according to customer needs, providing 24/7 coverage. FAA flight duty and rest requirements remain controlling for all operations.
