This pivotal role offers the opportunity to contribute significantly to pilot development, combining exceptional instructional expertise with operational flying duties.
Role Summary
The Senior Flight Instructor will serve as both a Pilot and a dedicated Flight Instructor, primarily focusing on B1900 and B350 aircraft types. Candidates should possess a Grade I or II Instructor Rating and demonstrate outstanding instructional capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting high-quality flight instruction and ground training for aspiring pilots and advanced aviators on B1900/B350 aircraft.
- Ensuring strict adherence to all aviation regulations and company operational standards.
- Mentoring students, fostering a professional, safe, and effective learning environment.
- Performing duties as a Pilot in operational capacities as required.
- Maintaining accurate training records and providing constructive feedback to students.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this esteemed position, candidates must meet the following essential criteria:
- Possession of a valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL) or Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
- A current Grade I or Grade II Instructors Rating.
- A valid Instrument Rating.
- Specific Instructors Rating endorsed for B1900 and/or B350 aircraft.
- Holds or is eligible for a Designated Flight Examiner (DFE) or Type Rating Examiner (TRE) qualification.
- Preference will be given to applicants holding Namibian License Endorsements.
