Waterfall Freight, a leading regional air cargo company and provider of scalable outsourced aviation services, seeks a qualified First Officer to operate SA227 Metro III aircraft. This role provides an opportunity to join a dynamic team supporting major cargo integrators, manufacturers, aircraft operators, and freight forwarders. The company is expanding its fleet, offering growth potential for its employees.
The First Officer will serve in SA227 Metro III aircraft. The position offers a base salary ranging from $43,000 to $48,000 annually, commensurate with experience, plus cargo and retention incentives. The position is home-based, with preference given to candidates residing within the I-65 corridor. However, candidates may live in any city within the contiguous U.S. that is within one hour of an airport served by at least two air carriers with daily service. The work schedule follows a 7-week rotation of 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off, 2 weeks on, and 1 week off. The company provides paid transportation to and from assignments, hotel accommodations, and a per diem of $40 per day while on assignment away from home base. The First Officer may be required to assist in the loading and unloading of cargo.
Candidates must possess a Commercial Pilot License with multi-engine land and instrument ratings or an Airline Transport Pilot License. They must meet all company insurance criteria regarding flight hours, with a minimum of 500 hours of total flight time, 100 hours of cross-country flight time, and 25 hours of night cross-country flight time. The applicant must be able to fly internationally and hold a Second Class Medical Certificate. Physical requirements include the ability to lift and move 75 pounds. A FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit is required. Candidates must hold a valid driver’s license, demonstrate English proficiency, and be eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship, with the ability to travel unrestrictedly in and out of the U.S.
