Waltzing Matilda Aviation (WMA), a reputable FAA-licensed Part 135 private jet charter operator, seeks a highly skilled and experienced Pilot in Command (PIC) to join its team in Long Beach, California. This is a full-time position reporting directly to the Chief Pilot.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe operation of a Challenger 300 aircraft, operating under FAR Part 135 regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, a meticulous approach to flight operations, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
When assessing candidates meeting the minimum qualifications, WMA will carefully consider factors such as the quality, quantity, recency, and verifiability of training; the complexity of aircraft flown; types of flight operations; and hours flown as PIC in turbine-powered aircraft.
