About the Role

Waltzing Matilda Aviation is seeking an experienced Pilot in Command (PIC) to operate Citation Excel (CE-560) aircraft under FAR Part 135 regulations. This Captain position is based at Hanscom AFB in Bedford, Massachusetts, offering competitive compensation starting at $150,000 with comprehensive benefits.

Requirements

• FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) license with Multi-Engine Land rating.
• CE-560 (Citation Excel) type rating is required.
• Minimum 2500 hours total documented flight time.
• Minimum 500 hours turbine flight time.
• Minimum 100 hours turbine Pilot in Command (PIC) time.
• Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
• Current instrument proficiency check, line check, and route check.
• FCC Radiotelephone Operator's Permit.
• Minimum age of 23 years.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Part 135 operating experience.
• Ability to pass a 10-year background check.
• Ability to pass FAA Drug and Alcohol Program testing.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability to travel in and out of the United States without restriction.
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

Candidates must possess a valid FAA ATP license, a CE-560 type rating, and meet the specified flight hour minimums for total time, turbine time, and turbine PIC time. A current First Class Medical, FCC Permit, and relevant checks are also mandatory.
