The Role of a Flight Attendant
The Flight Attendant position is central to ensuring passenger safety and satisfaction. This role requires individuals who are dedicated, inclusive, positive, and act with integrity, embodying Wizz Air’s core values. Employment commences with remuneration from the very first day of training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prioritise passenger safety and deliver outstanding customer care throughout all on-board and ground operations.
- Execute all duties in strict compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Efficiently manage in-flight sales and accurately handle cash transactions.
- Provide a warm welcome to all passengers and offer comprehensive assistance during flights.

Candidate Requirements
Prospective Cabin Crew members are expected to meet the following essential criteria:
- Candidates must be 18 years of age or older.
- An arm reach of 210 cm while standing on tiptoes is required.
- A minimum of a high school diploma, GCSE results, or an equivalent qualification is essential.
- Demonstrated fluency in both written and spoken English is mandatory.
- Possession of a valid passport without limitations, with a minimum of six months validity remaining.
- The ability to swim confidently is a prerequisite.
- Candidates must hold the legal right to live and work in the UK (e.g., British passport, valid Visa, Pre-Settlement, or Settlement Status).
- Candidates must reside, or be willing to relocate, within a 90-minute commute of their chosen base and be prepared to make this journey according to their work schedule.
- No visible tattoos or piercings are permitted when wearing the company uniform.
- An enthusiastic demeanor and a genuine enjoyment of working with people are highly valued.
- Successful candidates may be required to obtain a Schengen Visa, if applicable.
Important Medical Note: It is important to note that candidates wearing glasses or contact lenses with a prescription above +4 or below -4 are unlikely to pass the mandatory medical examination required for this role.
