Key Responsibilities of a Cabin Crew Member

As a Wizz Air Flight Attendant, the successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring an exceptional passenger experience, prioritizing safety and customer care. Core duties include:

  • Focusing on both safety protocols and superior customer service during all phases of flight.
  • Performing all assigned on-board and ground duties in strict compliance with Company policies and aviation regulations.
  • Efficiently managing in-flight sales and handling cash transactions.
  • Extending a warm welcome to passengers and providing comprehensive assistance throughout their journey.
  • Acting consistently in accordance with Wizz Air's core values: dedication, inclusivity, positivity, and integrity.
  • Becoming an integral part of a growing family of over 7,000 aviation enthusiasts.

Full training will be provided, with the candidate being contracted and compensated from day one of the training programme.

Candidate Requirements

Prospective Cabin Crew members are expected to meet the following essential criteria:

  • Aged 18 years or over.
  • Possession of an arm reach of 210 cm while standing on tiptoes.
  • A minimum of a high school degree, GCSE result, or equivalent qualification.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • A valid passport with a minimum of 6 months validity remaining and no limitations.
  • The ability to swim confidently.
  • Demonstrated right to live and work in the UK (evidenced by a British passport, valid Visa, Pre-Settlement, or Settlement Status).
  • Residency within 90 minutes of the chosen base or a readiness to relocate and commute accordingly based on work schedule.
  • Absence of visible tattoos and/or piercings on parts of the body when wearing the standard uniform.
  • An enthusiastic personality, demonstrating a genuine enjoyment for working with people.
  • Please note: Successful candidates may need to obtain a Schengen Visa, if applicable.
  • Candidates wearing glasses or contact lenses with a prescription above +4 or below -4 are advised that they may be unlikely to pass the mandatory medical examination.

Recruitment Process: Invitation-Only Event

Wizz Air is continuously recruiting for Cabin Crew positions. Interested candidates are required to register for the upcoming recruitment event. Due to facility limitations, this is an exclusive, invitation-only event, extended to a select group of candidates based on their qualifications and alignment with organisational values. Invitations will be dispatched to selected candidates approximately one week prior to the event. Non-selected candidates will receive information regarding future recruitment opportunities.
