First Officer (King Air) - Grand Manan, New Brunswick

Voyageur Aviation Corp. is seeking a professional and dedicated First Officer to join the Flight Operations team. Based at the Air Ambulance facility in Grand Manan, this role offers the opportunity to operate the Beechcraft King Air 200 fleet on Canada's east coast. The First Officer reports directly to the Director, Flight Operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate as the Second-in-Command, providing essential support to the Pilot-in-Command.
  • Ensure that all operational control parameters are strictly maintained throughout every flight.
  • Maintain high standards of on-time performance to successfully accomplish flight objectives.
  • Ensure the safety and security of all passengers, crew, aircraft, and cargo.
  • Liaise effectively with the Pilot-in-Command, Dispatch department, ATC, FSS, and customers.
  • Manage aircraft resources by ensuring all required maps, charts, and navigation equipment are readily available.
  • Maintain all necessary qualifications to crew BE20 aircraft.
  • Actively participate in safety briefings and utilize the company Safety and Risk Management system.
  • Ensure full compliance with company policies, procedures, air regulations, and standard operating procedures.
  • Complete all required operational documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements for Success

Only candidates meeting the following minimum criteria will be considered:

  • Possession of a valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with IATRA or ATPL.
  • Minimum of 500 hours total flight time.
  • Minimum of 100 hours of multi-engine experience.
  • Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and an aptitude for identifying effective solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to work a flexible rotation schedule.
  • Willingness to commute to or relocate to New Brunswick.
  • Previous Garmin 1000 and/or EFIS experience is considered an asset.

Compensation and Location

  • Location: New Brunswick facilities.
  • Compensation: Starting at $24.73/hour, commensurate with experience.
