Position Overview

Vista America is seeking a professional and dedicated Captain to serve as Pilot in Command (PIC) for a managed G550 aircraft. The successful candidate will act as a brand ambassador, delivering exceptional, luxury service while managing a blend of Part 91 and Part 135 operations. Reporting to the VP of Flight Operations, the Captain will operate within a global team structure designed to provide comprehensive support and operational excellence.

Pilot Requirements

  • Possess a valid ATP rating.
  • Hold a G550 type rating with documented experience.
  • Minimum of 3,500 hours fixed-wing flight time, including 1,500 hours PIC.
  • 250 hours PIC time in type (preferred).
  • Minimum 2,000 hours multi-engine experience.
  • 300 hours logged IFR time.
  • 1,000 hours turbine time.
  • Proven experience in Part 91/135 operations.
  • Currency requirements: 150 hours flight time in the previous 365 days; 30 hours flight time in the previous 90 days.
  • Current First Class Medical Certificate.
  • Record of no more than two checkride failures.
  • No history of accidents, incidents, or FAA enforcement actions within the last five years.
  • Compliance with ICAO Annex 1-2.1.10 requirements regarding international commercial air transport.
  • Ability to travel to all international destinations served by the Vista Family of Companies.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
