Position Overview

Vista America is seeking a professional and safety-oriented Captain for a G550 managed aircraft. Reporting to the Flight Operations Manager, the successful candidate will serve as a brand ambassador, providing premium service to passengers while ensuring operational excellence across both Part 91 and Part 135 flight segments. As part of a global aviation leader, the Captain will be supported by a dedicated team committed to high standards of service.

Pilot Requirements

  • Valid ATP rating.
  • Current G550 type rating with relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 3,500 hours total fixed-wing time, including 1,500 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC).
  • Preference given to candidates with 250 hours PIC time in type.
  • Minimum of 2,000 hours multi-engine time.
  • Minimum of 300 hours logged IFR time.
  • Minimum of 1,000 hours turbine time.
  • Proven experience in Part 91/135 operations.
  • Recency requirements: 150 hours flight time in the previous 365 days and 30 hours in the previous 90 days.
  • Possession of a current First Class Medical Certificate.
  • Record of no more than two checkride failures.
  • Clean safety record: no accidents, incidents, or FAA enforcement actions within the last five years.
  • Must meet the requirements of ICAO Annex 1-2.1.10 regarding international commercial air transport operations with multi-pilot crews.
  • Valid authorization to travel to and from all international destinations served by the Vista Family of Companies.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.
