Job Profile

Vista America is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Captain to pilot a managed Gulfstream G550 aircraft. This exciting opportunity is based at Bridgeport Sikorsky Memorial Airport (KBDR) and involves a combination of Part 91 and Part 135 operations. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver, an exceptional brand ambassador, and committed to providing unparalleled luxury service to passengers.

As part of the Vista global network, the successful Captain will contribute to Vista America's established benchmark in business aviation services across the United States, offering iconic, luxury service to discerning clients. This role reports directly to the Flight Operations Manager.

Pilot Requirements

  • Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) rating
  • Gulfstream G550 type rating and significant experience
  • Minimum 3,500 hours fixed-wing flight time, with at least 1,500 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC)
  • 250 hours PIC time in type (preferred)
  • Minimum 2,000 hours multi-engine flight time
  • Minimum 300 hours logged Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) time
  • Minimum 1,000 hours turbine flight time
  • Demonstrated experience in Part 91/135 operations
  • Minimum 150 hours flight time within the previous 365 days, and 30 hours within the previous 90 days
  • Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate
  • No accidents, incidents, or FAA enforcement actions within the last 5 years
  • Meets ICAO Annex 1-2.1.10 requirements for aircraft operating in international commercial air transport with more than one pilot
  • Authorization to travel to and from all international destinations served by Vista's Family of Companies
  • Authorization to work in the United States
