The Opportunity

Vista America is actively seeking a highly skilled and dedicated First Officer (Second in Command - SIC) for its managed aircraft fleet, specifically operating the Legacy 650. This permanent, full-time, home-based position offers an exceptional opportunity for an aviation professional to deliver iconic, luxury service to discerning passengers. The First Officer will serve as a crucial brand ambassador, adept problem-solver, and supportive team member within a global operational framework. This role involves a combination of Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations and reports directly to the Flight Operations Manager.

Pilot Requirements

Prospective candidates for the First Officer position must meet rigorous qualifications, demonstrating extensive experience and adherence to the highest safety standards:

• Possession of an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate.
• An EMB-145 type rating is preferred.
• A minimum of 2,500 hours of fixed-wing flight time, including 1,500 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC).
• At least 150 hours of logged Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) time.
• A minimum of 250 hours in turbine aircraft.
• Demonstrated jet aircraft experience.
• Proven experience in both Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations.
• Recent flight experience, comprising 150 hours within the preceding 365 days and 30 hours within the preceding 90 days.
• Possession of a current First Class Medical Certificate.
• A pristine safety record, with no accidents, incidents, or FAA enforcement actions within the last five years.
• Compliance with the requirements of ICAO Annex 1-2.1.10 concerning aircraft engaged in international commercial air transport operations with more than one pilot.
• Authorization to travel to and from all cities and countries served by the Vista Family of Companies.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
