This pivotal role will be based at Bridgeport Sikorsky Memorial Airport (KVNY) in Connecticut. The successful candidate will command a Gulfstream V (G-V) managed aircraft, operating under both Part 91 and Part 135 regulations. Key Responsibilities
The Captain will serve as the Pilot in Command (PIC), demonstrating strong problem-solving skills, acting as a brand ambassador, and consistently offering support to the crew. This role involves delivering an exceptional passenger experience while upholding the highest standards of safety and professionalism on a managed aircraft.
Pilot Requirements
Possess an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) rating.
Be typed and possess significant experience in a Gulfstream V (G-V) aircraft.
Accumulate a minimum of 3,500 hours of fixed-wing flight time, with at least 1,500 hours as PIC.
A preference for 250 hours of PIC time in type (G-V).
A minimum of 2,000 hours of multi-engine flight time.
Log at least 300 hours of instrument flight rules (IFR) time.
A minimum of 1,000 hours of turbine flight time.
Demonstrate experience operating under both Part 91 and Part 135 regulations.
Have logged at least 150 flight hours within the previous 365 days, and 30 flight hours within the previous 90 days.
Hold a current First Class Medical Certificate.
Have no record of accidents, incidents, or FAA enforcement actions within the past five years.
Meet the requirements of ICAO Annex 1-2.1.10 concerning aircraft engaged in international commercial air transport operations with more than one pilot.
Possess authorization to travel to and from all cities and countries served by the Vista Family of Companies.
Be authorized to work in the United States.
