Who Virgin Australia is Looking For

Ideal candidates are cool, calm, and collected, always happy to assist, and approach every situation with a can-do attitude. They are people-loving, safety-conscious, clear-headed, charming, and down-to-earth professionals who prioritize guest welfare.
While prior aviation experience is not mandatory, highly relevant backgrounds include at least three years of part-time or full-time employment in roles focused on caring for people and customers, such as customer service, hospitality, retail, aged care, nursing, or hotel environments.
Essential Requirements:
To be considered for this pivotal role, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Hold Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
- Possess a minimum of three years of prior employment (part-time or full-time) in customer-facing or people-caring roles.
- Hold a valid passport with at least 18 months remaining until expiry.
- Possess a current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
- Hold a current Australian First Aid and CPR certificate.
- Be available to work a 24/7 rotating roster, encompassing early starts, late finishes, weekends, public holidays, and peak periods.
- Be able to reach a height of 180cm.
- Be comfortable in the presence of cats and dogs, as they may travel onboard aircraft occasionally.
