This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring passenger safety on long-haul international flights, operating with one of the youngest and most environmentally efficient fleets. Successful candidates will travel to destinations worldwide.
About the Role
As a Flight Attendant with Virgin Atlantic, you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service across all cabin classes. Your duties will include ensuring the safety and well-being of passengers, managing onboard services such as food and beverage, and responding effectively to emergency situations. This position offers the opportunity to travel globally and be part of a dynamic team.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Possess the legal right to live and work in the UK.
- Hold a valid passport that permits unrestricted worldwide travel.
- Must meet specific safety and medical standards, including clear hearing and communication abilities.
- Physically capable of performing duties such as pushing, pulling, lifting, reaching, and manoeuvring equipment and people.
- Ability to provide and receive clear verbal safety instructions and follow safety information in low light conditions.
- Stamina to stand and walk for extended periods (up to eight hours) and comfort working in confined spaces.
- Willingness and ability to respond to medical and safety emergencies, including providing first aid and performing CPR with AED and ECG equipment.
- Comfortable handling and serving food and beverages, including alcohol.
- Must meet all necessary visa, entry, and health requirements, including vaccinations.
- No criminal convictions.
Qualifications
- No previous cabin crew experience is required.
- Proficiency in English is essential.
