Job Description:

As a Virgin Atlantic pilot, you will operate some of the most technologically advanced aircraft available, including the A330 Neo and Airbus A350-1000, all while enjoying unparalleled office views from London Heathrow.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate exceptional aircraft handling capabilities.
- Possess extensive procedural and technical knowledge.
- Exhibit strong leadership skills and outstanding human factors awareness.
- Maintain the highest professional and safety standards, making value-based decisions both in the air and on the ground.
- Deliver consistent operational excellence while upholding the airline's high safety standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a memorable journey for every passenger.
- Participate in recurrent training and checking to meet the requirements of the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and Virgin Atlantic.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1500 hours of Fast Jet flying experience, including hours accumulated while instructing on training aircraft.
- Experience operating or having operated in the last three years on one of the following RAF aircraft:
- F-35B Lightning II
- Typhoon FGR4
- Hawk
- Equivalent aircraft types flown on a foreign exchange tour will be considered.
- Hold a current UK Class One Medical.
- ATPL/CPL(A) must have been issued by the UK CAA at the time of contract issue by Virgin Atlantic Airways.
- Frozen ATPL issued by the UK CAA at the date of joining.
- Certified ICAO level 6 English Proficiency.
- Ability to provide copies of three Flying Training Reports (Basic (EFT) Flying Training Report, Advanced Flying Training Report, and most recent Annual Flying Report) prior to interview.
