Job Summary
The In-Flight Catering Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all catering operations at Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK). This role involves coordinating with cabin crew and catering suppliers to ensure timely and accurate catering uplifts to aircraft, while maintaining cost-effectiveness and adherence to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor overall catering operations for the station.
- Coordinate with cabin crew and catering suppliers to ensure aircraft catering requirements are met.
- Control and monitor the cost-effectiveness of catering operations.
- Ensure the safety of personnel and equipment during catering handling.
- Provide solutions for catering operational issues and discrepancies.
- Monitor the performance of catering staff against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Manage and monitor stock levels of amenities, Food & Beverage, and catering equipment.
- Adhere to alcohol, drug, and other psychoactive substances procedures.
- Report to the In-Flight Service Supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the aviation industry, with a focus on catering.
- A background in airline operations.
- Proven knowledge of Ground Operations and/or Customer Services.
- Experience in airline operations and/or ramp handling.
