Ventura Air Services | Captain
Ventura Air Services is seeking an experienced Captain (PIC) for its Part 135 operation, flying the Citation XL (CE-560XL). This home-based role is located anywhere within the contiguous United States, offering flexible schedules and a stable, family-owned environment focused on professional development.
About the Role
The Captain will serve as the Pilot in Command on the Citation XL (CE-560XL), ensuring safe, stable, and dependable domestic and international operations with a strong emphasis on customer service. This position requires effective communication, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to building a long-term professional relationship with Ventura Air Services. Opportunities for career advancement into instructor, standards/IOE captain, or Check Airman roles are available.
Requirements
- Possession of an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate (unrestricted or restricted).
- Valid First Class Medical Certificate.
- Minimum of 3,000 hours of total flight time.
- Minimum of 1,500 hours of Pilot in Command (PIC) time.
- Minimum of 250 hours of flight experience in the Citation XL (CE-560XL).
- Ability to travel internationally without restriction.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Initial or recurrent training in the Citation XL (CE-560XL) within the previous 36 months.
- 500 hours of flight experience in the Citation XL (CE-560XL).
- Previous international flight operations experience.
- Experience on other Citation variants.
- A strong Part 135 background.
- Demonstrated record of safety, stability, and dependability in domestic and international operations.
- Superior customer service skills and excellent communication abilities.
- A strong employment history and solid work ethic.

About the Schedule and Compensation
- Available roster options: 8 days on / 6 days off, or 15 days on / 13 days off.
- Travel days are included in the rotation.
- Base salary: $130,000.
