Position Duties and Responsibilities:
In this fast-paced position you will plan and coordinate closely with the Operations Manager. This role requires previous administrative experience, flexibility in your schedule and a strong knowledge of Vanguard policy and procedures as well as Transport Canada CARs.

Operating from a private business-class terminal at the Winnipeg airport, Vanguard Air Care's operates a Medevac Operation which provides 24-hour patient transfers throughout Manitoba from bases in Thompson, lsland Lakes and Norway House. Duties will include:

Supervise, Mentor and train First Officers and Captains

Ensuring the professional standards of flight crews

Developing SOPs, Interpreting and meeting government contract requirements

Hiring - interviews, on-boarding, conducting ground school, uniform management

Conducting Performance Reviews and Disciplinary meetings
- Scheduling and succession planning
- On-Call as required
- A High Level of Confidentiality
- Sound decision making and judgement skills,

To be considered for this position you must meet the following;

Administrative experience in organization, record-keeping, quality assurance
- Sound analytical and critical thinking skills
- Familiarity with CARs
- Extremely detail orientated
- Decision making and organizational skills

Ability to change course quickly
- Must be fluent in written and spoken English
- Ability to create alternative solutions to problems
- Flexibility in schedule when required

Work well under pressure

Ability to interpret and implement company policies and procedures
- Strong computer literacy
- Ability to maintain a respectful workplace

Clear criminal record

Must obtain Restricted Area Identification Card within 90 days of hire
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
