Reports to: Chief Pilot and Director of Operations

Vaerus Aviation seeks a highly professional and experienced Pilot in Command for its corporate aviation operations, specifically flying a Beechjet. This role emphasizes sound judgment, thorough preparation, and professionalism within a supportive and reliable operating environment.

Role Responsibilities and Environment

The Pilot in Command will operate well-maintained business aircraft, supporting diverse business and personal travel missions. This position offers realistic flight planning, clear communication, and a collaborative team understanding aviation from a pilot's perspective. Candidates will be entrusted with command of the aircraft and mission, fostering an environment that respects decision-making and avoids unnecessary pressure.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine Rating
  • Minimum 3,000 hours total flight time
  • Minimum 500 hours in type (BE400 type rating preferred)
  • Second Class FAA Medical Certificate or higher
  • Valid US Passport and driver’s license
  • FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit

Experience in corporate aircraft operations is highly valued for demonstrating adaptability, systems knowledge, and operational judgment. Candidates with substantial, though not all, of the preferred experience are encouraged to apply.
