Role Overview
Vaerus Aviation is seeking a professional Second in Command (SIC) for a Corporate Challenger 300 operation. This position is designed for experienced pilots who prioritize sound judgment, thorough preparation, and operational professionalism. The successful candidate will join a culture that emphasizes realistic mission planning, clear communication, and the empowerment of flight crew members to command the aircraft and the mission under captain mentorship.
Responsibilities

Operate well-maintained business aircraft in support of diverse business and personal travel missions.

Uphold organizational standards for reliability and transparency in flight operations.

Exercise sound judgment in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Maintain a commitment to long-term career stability and professional excellence.
Minimum Qualifications

Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine and Instrument Ratings.

Minimum of 1,500 hours of total flight time.

Documented turbine experience.

Possession of a Second Class FAA Medical Certificate or higher.

Valid US Passport and driver’s license.

FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
Preferred Qualifications

Diverse international flying experience.

Demonstrated experience in corporate aviation environments, including systems knowledge and operational adaptability.
