Role Overview
Vaerus Aviation is seeking a professional Second in Command (SIC) for a Corporate Challenger 300 operation. This position is designed for experienced pilots who prioritize sound judgment, thorough preparation, and operational professionalism. The successful candidate will join a culture that emphasizes realistic mission planning, clear communication, and the empowerment of flight crew members to command the aircraft and the mission under captain mentorship.
Responsibilities
- Operate well-maintained business aircraft in support of diverse business and personal travel missions.
- Uphold organizational standards for reliability and transparency in flight operations.
- Exercise sound judgment in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Maintain a commitment to long-term career stability and professional excellence.
Minimum Qualifications
- Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine and Instrument Ratings.
- Minimum of 1,500 hours of total flight time.
- Documented turbine experience.
- Possession of a Second Class FAA Medical Certificate or higher.
- Valid US Passport and driver’s license.
- FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diverse international flying experience.
- Demonstrated experience in corporate aviation environments, including systems knowledge and operational adaptability.
