Job Overview

V2X GTS is seeking a highly qualified Instructor/Operator (I/O) to provide comprehensive training, aviation instruction, and Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS) oversight for the Kuwait Air Force (KAF). Reporting to the V2X-GTS Program Manager, the successful candidate will conduct advanced flight instruction and evaluation to meet rigorous military standards. The standard work schedule is five days per week, up to eight hours per day.

Key Responsibilities

Provide advanced AH-64D/E flight instruction and performance evaluations in classroom, flight, and simulator environments.
Conduct pre-flight briefings, in-flight instruction, and post-flight After Action Reviews.
Manage simulator utilization, scheduling, and operational readiness, including maintenance test flights.
Deliver instruction on aircraft systems, emergency procedures, instrument flight, NVG operations, terrain flight, tactics, and gunnery.
Develop and maintain courseware, Programs of Instruction (POI), and simulator Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Perform technical duties including fault insertion, weather control, and ATC simulation services.
Serve as a subject matter expert, ensuring compliance with Army Aircrew Training Manuals and aviation regulations.
Coordinate site maintenance and provide technical support for simulator hardware, including HVAC and generator systems.

Required Qualifications

Citizenship: Must be a United States citizen with a valid U.S. passport (minimum 2 years of remaining eligibility).
Education: High School Diploma required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years as an aviator; minimum 1,000 flight hours in AH-64D/E; minimum 250 hours as an AH-64D/E Instructor Pilot.
Recent Flight: Documented AH-64D/E flight within the last 12 months.
Certification: Graduate of the U.S. Army AH-64D/E Instructor Pilot and Methods of Instruction course.
Medical: Must maintain a current FAA second-class Medical Certificate or an Army Class 2 Flight Duty Medical Exam (FDME).
Technical Proficiency: Strong computer literacy, including database management, electronic publications, and briefing software.

Physical and Operational Requirements

Must be able to walk, stand, climb stairs/ladders, stoop, bend, and crawl in/around cockpits and training devices.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Must be able to distinguish colors, detect auditory warnings, and function in a diverse professional environment.
Must hold a valid driver’s license and qualify for a U.S. Government Motor Vehicle Operator’s License and a Kuwaiti Driver’s License.
Must meet all requirements to obtain a Work Permit and Residency Visa in Kuwait.
