**Job Summary:**
+ Provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of adult patients with complex voice and upper airway needs, including professional voice users and singers.
+ Manage patients with diagnoses such as benign laryngeal lesions, glottic insufficiency, muscle tension dysphonia, neurologic voice disorders (e.g., Parkinson’s disease), chronic cough, inducible laryngeal obstruction, and breathing pattern disorder.
+ Support patients with voice modification for gender voice congruence.
+ Perform and interpret specialized diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including: videolaryngostroboscopy (flexible and rigid), acoustic and aerodynamic analysis, and motor speech and auditory-perceptual voice evaluations.
+ Serve as an integral member of multidisciplinary care teams, working closely with laryngologists, other referring physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and support staff.
+ Participate in joint and solo clinics, perioperative education, and longitudinal care coordination.
+ Confer regularly with physicians to support diagnostic decision-making and treatment planning.
+ Contribute to the development and refinement of clinical protocols, patient education materials, and service delivery models.
+ Support growth and innovation within the Laryngology Division through quality improvement, clinical program development, and strategic collaboration.
+ Participate in the education of SLP students, medical residents, fellows, nurses, and medical assistants.
+ Engage in the academic mission through clinical research, clinical trials, manuscript preparation, abstract submission, and scientific presentations, consistent with interest and experience.
+ Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory and billing requirements.
+ Demonstrate professionalism, adaptability, and excellence in a fast-paced academic medical environment.

**Qualifications:**
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ Completion of a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited U.S. institution
+ Eligibility for or possession of a Colorado Speech-Language Pathology license.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Possess or be eligible for a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
+ Advanced clinical experience in voice and upper airway management
+ Demonstrated experience working within multidisciplinary teams
+ Prior leadership experience, such as mentoring clinicians or trainees, leading clinical initiatives, or contributing to program development
+ Experience in vocal performance and vocal pedagogy including working with singers.
+ Expertise in evidence-based voice therapy approaches (e.g., Vocal Function Exercises, Resonant Voice Therapy, Phonation Resistance Training Exercises, Lee Silverman Voice Treatment)
+ Interest in clinical research and academic collaboration.
+ Strong presentation, teaching, and communication skills

The Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery is seeking an experienced, highly collaborative Speech-Language Pathologist to join our Laryngology practice at the University of Colorado Hospital and affiliated sites. This is a full-time, advanced clinical role ideally suited for an SLP with a strong background in multidisciplinary team-based care and demonstrated clinical leadership within complex medical settings. The successful candidate will be appointed to the rank of Instructor and will function as a member of an academic tertiary referral practice specializing in the evaluation and management of complex adult voice, airway, and swallowing disorders. Clinical care is primarily outpatient.Key Responsibilities: This role is expected to work onsite in Aurora, CO.
