Airline Captain
An experienced and dedicated Airline Captain is sought to join our esteemed flight crew. The Airline Captain will be accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft, upholding the highest standards of safety, customer service, and operational efficiency. This individual will demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, extensive flying experience, and a steadfast commitment to maintaining the utmost levels of professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
The Airline Captain will maintain comprehensive familiarity with relevant European and International air legislation, agreed aviation practices, and procedures. They will be thoroughly familiar with the company's operations manuals. The Captain is responsible for the safety of all crew members, passengers, and cargo onboard from the moment they arrive on the aircraft until their departure at the flight's conclusion. They have ultimate responsibility for the operation and safety of the aircraft, possessing the authority to issue commands and take actions necessary to secure the safety of the aircraft, its occupants, and any cargo. The Captain is authorized to disembark any person or remove any cargo that presents a potential hazard.
The Captain will not permit any individual who appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs to board if that person's condition is likely to endanger the aircraft or its occupants. They have the authority to refuse transportation of inadmissible passengers, deportees, or individuals in custody if their carriage elevates the safety risk. They will ensure all passengers are briefed on emergency exit locations, safety equipment, and its use. They will also ensure adherence to operational procedures and checklists according to the operations manual. During critical flight phases, no crew member will be permitted to perform activities not related to the safe operation of the aircraft. The Captain is also responsible for ensuring flight recorders are not disabled or switched off during flight. In the event of an accident or incident that requires mandatory reporting, the Captain will take the necessary actions.
Requirements:
- EASA ATPL
- EASA Class one Medical
- ICAO English Language Level (ELP) 5 Minimum
- Minimum of 2000 hours total time
- Minimum 1000 hours PIC (on an aircraft greater than 10,000kg)
- Current or recently held valid type rating within the last 2 years
- Right to live and work in the European Union.
