We are searching for an Aviate Sourcing and Pilot Recruiter to play a pivotal role in attracting top-tier talent to the prestigious Aviate program.
Your Mission
As an Aviate Sourcing and Pilot Recruiter, you will be responsible for the end-to-end recruitment process for the Aviate program, sourcing, attracting, and securing promising candidates. You will build and nurture relationships with students, instructors, and key stakeholders at partner flight schools, universities, and Part 135 operators.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively source, attract, and recruit qualified candidates through various channels.
- Plan and attend career fairs, campus visits, and flight line events to engage with potential candidates.
- Deliver compelling presentations showcasing the Aviate program, United Airlines initiatives, and our core values.
- Guide and mentor potential candidates, providing comprehensive information on the Aviate program and career pathways within United Airlines.
- Analyze program data and collaborate with team members to develop and implement effective recruiting strategies.
- Partner with Pilot Hiring throughout the application and interview process, ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
- Deliver timely and professional communication to candidates, addressing inquiries and facilitating the application process.
- Assist with special projects, including the creation of presentations for partner launches and industry events.
- Represent United Airlines at Aviate partner launches, industry events, and community recruitment initiatives.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in Human Resources, including a minimum of 6 months in a dedicated recruiting role.
- Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and experience with databases.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn, and their application in recruiting.
- Exceptional judgment, discretion, and commitment to confidentiality.
- Superior time management, organizational, and follow-through skills.
- Ability to prioritize effectively, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and delegate tasks efficiently.
- Impeccable verbal and written communication skills, with a strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to quickly assess candidate skills, qualifications, and attributes.
- Willingness to travel up to 40-50% of the time.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Successful completion of the interview process.
- Punctual and reliable attendance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience coordinating and participating in career fairs.
- Prior experience developing and delivering presentations to large audiences.
- Background in aviation recruiting is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
Compensation and Benefits
