Key Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for planning and executing recruiting events for Aviate and pilot recruiting. High level event coordination with vendor contacts plus overall management of events that need to be designed to appeal to student and pilot candidates and diverse audiences. Examples include: NGPA, WAI, and OBAP events, Aviate partner recruiting events (on campus, flight lines and UAX partners), Aviate engagement events, career fairs, aviation days, pilot recruiting meetings, etc. Will also lead and support virtual events.

+ Identifies appropriate venues and vendors (meeting facilities, hotels, restaurants, caterers, transport) for event

+ Coordinates with recruiters and when appropriate, identifies and coordinates needed local resources

+ Duties include pre-event and event/onsite logistics coordination and management of vendors, including coordinating representatives for the venue with other outside suppliers and contractors

+ Establishes and manages budgets and delivery timelines

+ Manages registration process for all pilot recruiting events

+ Maintains calendar of events and coordinates with assigned recruiters on scheduling and availability

+ Coordinates and schedules transportation, lodging, catering and other attendee-related logistics

+ Partners with communication team to coordinate the timing and logistics of the communication and social media strategy

+ Develops communication methods to keep stakeholders aware of all upcoming events and needed support

The salary for this position is $67,870 to $99,550, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education and skills. This range is based on a full-time schedule.

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

+ 2-4 years of event planning experience

+ Adept at working cross functionally within a corporate environment

+ Developing strategic plans for meetings/events

+ Excellent project management skills

+ Experienced with presenting to management

+ Knowledge of electronic comms/registration platforms

+ Demonstrated ability to manage vendors, crew, and site on large scale productions

+ Highly organized with a keen attention to detail and thinking quickly on your feet

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to build strong relationships

+ Positive demeanor and collaborative teammate

+ Ability to plan, develop and lead strategic meetings and events to internal and external audiences

+ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

+ Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
