The Ramp Training Instructor leverages hands-on expertise in learning and development to enhance workforce skills and support the company's overarching learning strategy. This position involves analyzing training needs, designing effective learning solutions, and delivering impactful training programs while deepening knowledge of United's training frameworks and workforce development requirements.
Key responsibilities include:

Updating instructional guides and reference materials, proposing improvements to curriculum content, delivery methods, communication, and documentation processes.

Delivering engaging content instruction and managing training sessions from initiation to completion, including requests, roster management, enrollment, classroom setup, and session close-out.

Providing essential administrative and logistical support for training programs, such as reservations, ordering supplies, data management, and file organization.

Acting as a subject matter expert for training content design, project implementation, and policy review related to ramp operations training.

Administering Learning Management Systems (LMS) for session management, participant enrollment, attendance tracking, and assessments.

Offering technical and procedural support for training-related inquiries and issues.

Ensuring full compliance with all training requirements and preparing detailed written summaries of training classes, including individual student performance notes.

Drafting communication plans and programs for key training initiatives and managing participant communications regarding enrollment and general course inquiries.
Requirements

Minimum of one (1) year of relevant work experience in Training, Facilitation, Ramp Services, or Operations.

Ability to travel up to 75% as needed for training delivery and support.

Proven stakeholder management experience, demonstrating success in building relationships with operational leaders, safety teams, and cross-functional partners.

Demonstrated ability to identify customer needs and translate them into effective training solutions for ramp operations.

Experience in curriculum design and development, encompassing the creation of instructional materials and comprehensive training programs.

Capability to stand for long periods of time during training sessions.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without requiring sponsorship.

Successful completion of an interview process to meet job qualification standards.
