Ramp Training Instructor
to join its team in the United States. This pivotal role leverages hands-on learning and development expertise to expand organizational capabilities, deliver impactful training programs, and ensure operational compliance within ramp services.
About the Role
The Ramp Training Instructor plays a crucial part in deepening knowledge of United's training frameworks and workforce development requirements. The successful candidate will execute diverse assignments supporting the company’s learning strategy, including analyzing training needs, and developing and delivering comprehensive learning programs for ramp operations. Key responsibilities for this Training Instructor position include:

Design:
Updating instructional guides and reference materials; proposing improvements to curriculum content, delivery, communication, and documentation processes.

Delivery and Logistics:
Delivering content instruction, managing sessions from beginning to end (requests, rosters, enrollment, classroom setup, close out); providing administrative and logistical support (e.g., reservations, ordering meals/supplies, data management, and file organization); acting as a subject matter expert for training content design, project implementation, and policy review.

Technology and Systems:
Administering Learning Management Systems (LMS), including session management, participant enrollment, attendance, and assessments; providing technical and procedural support on training-related issues.

Assessment and Metrics:
Ensuring compliance with training requirements; preparing written summaries of training classes, including notes on individual student performance.

Business Partnership and Support:
Drafting communication plans and programs for key initiatives; managing participant communications, focusing on enrollment and general course inquiries.
Requirements
Candidates for this Ramp Training Instructor role must demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

1+ years of relevant work experience in Training, Facilitation, Ramp Services, or Operations.

Ability to travel up to 75% as needed.

Proven stakeholder management experience, including building relationships with operational leaders, safety teams, and cross-functional partners.

Demonstrated ability to identify customer needs and translate them into effective training solutions for ramp operations.

Experience in curriculum design and development, including creating instructional materials and training programs.

The physical ability to stand for long periods of time.

Legal authorization to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.

Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification.
