About the Role
United Airlines is seeking a dedicated Ramp Training Instructor to join their team in the United States. This pivotal role involves leveraging expertise in learning and development to enhance organizational capabilities and support the company's comprehensive learning strategy, focusing on ramp operations training. The Ramp Training Instructor will be instrumental in analyzing training needs, designing, developing, and delivering impactful learning programs.
Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Design:
Updates instructional guides and reference materials; proposes improvements to curriculum content, delivery, communication, and documentation processes.

Program Delivery & Logistics:
Manages and delivers training sessions from start to finish, including session requests, roster management, participant enrollment, classroom setup, and administrative support (e.g., reservations, supplies, data management, file organization).

Technical Systems Management:
Administers Learning Management Systems (LMS) for session management, participant attendance tracking, and assessments; provides technical and procedural support for training-related issues.

Assessment & Compliance:
Ensures adherence to training requirements and prepares comprehensive summaries of training classes, including individual student performance notes.

Business Partnership:
Acts as a subject matter expert for training content design, project implementation, and policy review; drafts communication plans and manages participant communications, focusing on enrollment and general course inquiries.
Requirements
Candidates for the Ramp Training Instructor position should possess:

1+ years of relevant work experience in Training, Facilitation, Ramp Services, or Operations.

Availability for up to 75% travel as needed.

Proven experience in stakeholder management, including building relationships with operational leaders, safety teams, and cross-functional partners.

Demonstrated ability to identify customer needs and translate them into effective training solutions for ramp operations.

Experience in curriculum design and development, including creating instructional materials and training programs.

The physical ability to stand for long periods of time.

Legal authorization to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.

Successful completion of an interview process to meet job qualification.
