About the Role

Commence an exciting career with 6.5 weeks of industry-leading Flight Attendant (FA) training in Houston, TX, covering safety and service standards.

Receive a $140 weekly stipend, dual-occupancy hotel accommodations, and two meals daily during training. A $1,000 bonus is awarded upon successful completion.

Assigned to a United hub city or base following training; relocation funds are not provided.

Qualifications

Minimum 21 years of age at the time of application.

High school graduate or GED; two or more years of college preferred.

At least one year of customer service experience in a service industry.

Current physical possession of a valid U.S. or foreign passport (12 months validity, two blank pages) for global travel eligibility.

Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Willingness to complete pre-employment DOT drug screen, background checks, fingerprinting, vision, and hearing tests. Medical/recreational marijuana use is prohibited.

Ability to pass a 10-year criminal background check, ensuring unrestricted international travel eligibility.

Willingness and ability to work a flexible 24/7 schedule, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements

Ability to speak clearly and loudly for emergencies; fluent in spoken, written, and understood English.

Fluency in spoken and written French.

Ability to hear all types/ranges of sound and communicate effectively in high-stress situations.

Maintain professional appearance and grooming standards. Tattoos: not permitted on head, hands, fingers, or neck; other visible tattoos credit card size or smaller, or covered, and not offensive. No decorative dental/mouth jewelry.

Proficiency in operating electronic devices.

Ability to travel globally without restrictions as a working crew member.

Physical capacity to stand, walk, kneel, bend, stoop, stretch, reach, lift heavy objects, and push/pull beverage carts (up to 250 lbs.).

Ability to pass a functional reach assessment (combined 76-inch vertical and 43.5-inch horizontal reach, without shoes) for equipment operation.

Ability to sit in an assigned jump seat.

Successful completion of an evacuation drill in water during training.
