United Airlines is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Flight Attendants. Demonstrate dependability, timeliness, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a crew.
Qualifications and Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older at the time of application.

High school diploma or GED required; two or more years of college preferred.

Minimum of one year of customer service experience (e.g., retail, hospitality, food service, education, or aviation).

Fluency in English (speaking, reading, writing, and understanding) is required.

Language Requirement:
Must be fluent in Dutch (speaking, reading, and writing).

Possess a valid passport with at least 12 months of remaining validity and two consecutive blank pages at the time of application.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and eligible to travel globally without restrictions.

Must meet physical requirements, including:

Ability to lift heavy objects and push/pull beverage carts up to 250 lbs.

Successful completion of a functional reach assessment (76-inch vertical and 43.5-inch horizontal reach).

Ability to sit in an assigned jump seat with harness fastened.

Professional appearance and willingness to adhere to uniform, grooming, tattoo, and piercing standards.

Ability to pass pre-employment DOT drug screens, background checks, and hearing/vision assessments. Note: Marijuana use is prohibited.

Proficiency in operating electronic devices such as tablets and smartphones.
Training and Compensation
The role includes a 6.5-week initial training program in Houston, TX. During this period, United provides a $140/week stipend, dual-occupancy hotel accommodations, and partial meal coverage. Upon successful graduation, trainees receive a $1,000 bonus.
Compensation:
Starting hourly pay is $28.88, scaling up to $67.11. Additional compensation is available for language skills, lead positions, and international trips. This position is bonus-eligible.
