Flight Attendant
United Airlines is seeking dedicated professionals to join our growing team of over 30,000 flight attendants. Position Overview
Successful candidates will undergo 6.5 weeks of industry-leading initial training in Houston, Texas, covering comprehensive safety and service standards. Upon successful completion and base orientation, employees will begin full-time service. During training, the company provides a $140 weekly stipend, dual-occupancy hotel accommodations, and partial meal coverage. Graduates of the training program receive a $1,000 bonus.

Qualifications and Requirements

Minimum 21 years of age at the time of application.

High school diploma or GED (two or more years of college preferred).

Minimum one year of experience in the service industry (e.g., retail, hospitality, education, aviation).

Fluency in English (speak, read, write, and understand).

Fluency in German (speak and read).

Must possess a valid U.S. or foreign passport book in good condition with at least 12 months of remaining validity and two consecutive blank pages.

Legal authorization to work in the United States and eligibility to travel globally without restrictions.

Ability to pass a 10-year criminal background check and DOT/FAA pre-employment and random drug screenings.

Physical ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, reach, and lift heavy objects; must pass a functional reach assessment (76-inch vertical and 43.5-inch horizontal reach).

Must meet FAA/United Airlines hearing and vision standards.

Professional appearance, adherence to grooming standards, and compliance with uniform, tattoo, and piercing policies.
Compensation and Benefits

Starting hourly flight pay of $28.88, scaling up to $67.11 based on seniority.
