Key Responsibilities

  • Prioritize safety as the primary operational objective.

  • Perform essential duties including, but not limited to: serving food and beverages, assisting passengers, and responding to security or medical emergencies.

  • Operate electronic devices proficiently to complete required job tasks.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years of age or older at the time of application.
  • High school diploma or GED required; two or more years of college preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in the service industry (e.g., retail, hospitality, education, aviation, or social service).
  • Must be fluent in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding English. Proficiency in a second language is highly desirable.
  • Must possess a valid passport book with at least 12 months of remaining validity and two consecutive blank pages at the time of application.
  • Must have legal authorization to work in the United States and the ability to travel globally without restrictions.
  • Must meet FAA and company hearing and vision requirements (corrected vision 20/40 or better; specific audiometry standards).
  • Physical capability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, lift heavy objects, and push/pull beverage carts up to 250 lbs.
  • Must pass a functional reach assessment (76-inch vertical and 43.5-inch horizontal reach).
  • Willingness to adhere to grooming, uniform, and tattoo/piercing standards.
  • Ability to pass comprehensive background checks, fingerprinting, and DOT/FAA-mandated drug screenings (including prohibition of medical and recreational marijuana).

Schedule and Environment

This role requires total flexibility for a 24/7 operation. Successful candidates must be available to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours. Flight Attendants must be prepared to fulfill reserve assignments on short notice and be away from their assigned base for multiple days at a time.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Starting hourly flight pay: $28.88/hour; top of scale: $67.11/hour.
  • Additional compensation available for language skills, lead positions, and international trips.

  • Training support: $140/week stipend, hotel accommodations, and meals during the 6.5-week training program.
