With over 25,000 flight attendants, United provides unparalleled training and advancement opportunities. Selected candidates will embark on a comprehensive 6.5-week program in Houston, Texas, where they will receive a weekly stipend of $140, accommodations, and meals. Upon successful completion, trainees will be assigned to one of our seven hubs – Chicago, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, Newark, San Francisco, or Washington Dulles – and receive a $1,000 bonus.

Qualifications for a Seamless Takeoff
- Minimum 21 years of age
- High school diploma or GED equivalent (two or more years of college preferred)
- Minimum one year of customer service experience in a service industry (e.g., retail, hospitality, food service, education, aviation, social services)
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, including the ability to speak clearly in emergency situations
- Fluency in Italian (speaking and reading)
- Professional appearance and adherence to uniform, hair, tattoo, and piercing guidelines
- Valid U.S. passport book or foreign passport book with applicable visas and at least 18 months of remaining validity
- Ability to travel globally without restrictions
- Physical ability to perform the essential functions of the role, including lifting heavy objects (up to 250 lbs.), reaching overhead, and standing for extended periods
- Successful completion of a pre-employment DOT drug screen, comprehensive background check, fingerprinting, vision and hearing tests, and a water evacuation drill
