Comprehensive Training and Career Development:
No prior aviation experience is required. Successful candidates will embark on a fully-paid, 6.5-week training program in Houston, Texas, where they will receive comprehensive instruction on United's industry-leading safety procedures and renowned customer service standards. Qualifications and Requirements:
To qualify for this rewarding role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Age: Minimum 21 years old at the time of application.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent. Two or more years of college education is preferred.
- Experience: At least one year of customer service experience in a service industry setting (e.g., retail, hospitality, food, education, aviation, social services).
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to speak clearly, concisely, and loudly enough to be heard in an emergency. Fluency in English (speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension) is mandatory. Proficiency in a second language is highly desirable.
- Professionalism: Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to uniform, grooming, tattoo, and piercing guidelines.
- Physical Requirements: Must meet specific physical requirements, including the ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform tasks in a confined space.
- Travel Requirements: Possess a valid U.S. passport or foreign passport with applicable visas, allowing unrestricted travel to all destinations served by United Airlines.
