About the Role
USAA is seeking a professional Flight Attendant for its San Antonio Hangar to serve as a third crew member on corporate aircraft. Operating in accordance with FAR 91 and USAA Flight Operations procedures, the successful candidate will manage all in-flight services and ground-based preparations to ensure passenger safety and comfort. This role requires an individual to work on-site, with relocation assistance available.
Key Responsibilities

Provide professional, polite, and courteous cabin service to maximize passenger and crew comfort, safety, and well-being.

Coordinate flight catering and beverage requirements, ensuring the aircraft and commissary are properly stocked.

Conduct passenger cabin safety briefings, covering safety precautions and emergency procedures.

Assist passengers with boarding, deplanement, and baggage handling.

Perform administrative and operational duties as assigned by the Director of Flight Operations.

Communicate effectively with senior company executives and Board Members.

Identify, monitor, and control risks associated with business activities in compliance with company policies.
Requirements

High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).

Minimum of 4 years of flight attendant experience, with a preference for candidates from a Corporate Flight Operation environment.

Completion of Flight Attendant Career Training School (FACTs) or equivalent training in cabin safety and emergency procedures.

Ability and willingness to travel approximately 100 days per year.

Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts.
Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of dietary restrictions and food allergies.

Current CPR & First Aid certification.

Strong understanding of confidentiality.

Software proficiency.

Familiarity with serving and cutlery etiquette.

Exceptional communication skills and extreme attention to detail.

Familiarity with Dassault Falcon 2000 safety instructions.

Proven ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $85,040.00 – $153,080.00. Compensation is established based on experience and market data. Employees may be eligible for performance-based incentives at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.
