Turkish Airlines: Cabin Crew Opportunity
Turkish Airlines, Turkiye's flag carrier and the airline flying to more countries than any other, invites applications for the position of Cabin Crew. The Role: Cabin Crew
Selected candidates will initially be recruited under the title of "Cabin Crew Candidate." They will undergo comprehensive cabin crew training at Turkish Airlines, lasting approximately 2 months. Upon successful completion of this training, candidates will commence flight duties with the official title of "Cabin Crew."
General Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a Turkish citizen or blue cardholder.
- Be born between 01.01.1988 and 31.12.2004.
- Hold at least an associate degree (including open education). Graduates from foreign universities must provide an equivalency certificate from the Council of Higher Education (YÖK).
- Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience as a flight attendant. Experience with active flight duty within the last 5 years is considered an advantage.
- Hold a valid Cabin Crew Initial Training Certificate (registered in the aviation authority system).
- Demonstrate proficiency in English. Additional languages are an advantage.
- Have no Criminal Record or Criminal Archive Record.
- Not be eligible for retirement.
- For male candidates, not be exempt from military service.
- Not have previously left Turkish Airlines Inc. or other organizations due to indiscipline, health problems, or contract termination.
- Candidates from Turkish Airlines subsidiaries must have worked at least 3 years in their company to be eligible to apply.
Physical Requirements
Applicants must meet the following physical standards:
- Height between 160 cm and 180 cm for females, and 170 cm and 190 cm for males. Weight should be proportional to height. (Measurements are taken by Turkish Airlines or designated organizations). Information regarding the Height and Weight Requirements Chart is available.
- Maintain compliance with physical conditions, ensuring no permanent scars on areas visible in the uniform. Specific checks are conducted for:
- Tattoo (including those being removed)
- Piercing
- Scar/Brunt/Stitch mark
- Birth mark
- Large moles
- Intense acne and Scar Marks
- Skin conditions such as Eczema, Vitiligo

- Adhere to the "Cabin Crew Uniform Use and Representation Manual" regarding uniform wear and representation. Visual information created in line with the manual is available for examination.
Health Requirements
Candidates must meet the health criteria determined by Turkish Airlines. Detailed health requirements are available for review.
Application Method and Procedure
The application window remains open until a sufficient number of candidates apply. Only applications submitted exclusively through the official Turkish Airlines career portal that meet the specified criteria will be considered. Candidates are required to upload the following up-to-date documents in PDF format via the e-devlet system to the "CV Attachments" section of the career portal:
- Transcript showing Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree of graduation.
- Criminal Record and Criminal Archive Record Document (obtained selecting "Official" for institution type and "Other" for reason for issuance on the "Criminal Record Inquiry" page).
- SGK Registration and Service Statement (obtained via the "SGK" heading).
- Military Service Document for male candidates (must be barcoded).
Uploaded documents will be checked for eligibility to proceed to the next stage. Candidates will be contacted via the email address provided in their application; maintaining an up-to-date and valid email address is essential throughout the assessment process.
Assessment Processes
The assessment process for Cabin Crew Candidates typically includes: Online English Test, English Video Assessment (Online), Online Document Check, Online Inventory Test, Height & Weight Measurement with tattoo and scar check, English Proficiency Assessment (face to face), HR Assessment, Preliminary Medical Check, Medical Check (Airworthiness), and Job Offer. For candidates successfully completing all assessment stages and receiving a job offer, the Cabin Crew Initial Training is scheduled between August 2025 and June 2026, with assessment processes scheduled accordingly.
Notes
- Candidates previously eliminated at the height measurement stage in past cabin crew recruitment processes (women under 158 cm or above 181 cm, men under 168 cm or above 191 cm) are not eligible to reapply.
- Candidates found to have communicated inappropriately verbally or in writing against Turkish Airlines or its employees in previous processes are not eligible to apply.
- Candidates who do not meet the General Requirements will not be eligible to apply for this posting.
- Candidates found to have made false statements regarding application conditions at any stage of the recruitment process will be disqualified.
