Trident Aircraft seeks a highly qualified pilot to operate a Praetor 600 based in Maryland. This position will contribute to the management of a growing fleet of managed jets. The successful candidate will be based in Maryland and primarily operate a 2023 Embraer Praetor 600 for a well-established Baltimore company, flying approximately 400 hours annually, with some Part 135 flying expected. This role will be the third pilot on the account and will also provide occasional coverage for a Baltimore-based Legacy 500.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a Commercial Pilot License with Multi-Engine Land and Instrument ratings, with a minimum of 1500 hours total time, 500 hours multi-engine time, and 100 hours of turbine time. An Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate or successful completion of the ATP written exam is preferred. Time in type or similar type aircraft is advantageous. Preference will be given to candidates with EMB-550 type ratings and current simulator currency within the last 12 months.

The pilot must reside or be willing to relocate within a 90-minute radius of the assigned base (KMTN, Baltimore, MD) within 60 days of employment.

Physical Requirements:

The pilot must be able to perform essential job functions, which include using hands and fingers for handling, feeling, and reaching. The role requires frequent standing, walking, or sitting, with occasional climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. The pilot must be capable of lifting and moving up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally above their heads. Specific vision requirements include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, as well as depth perception and the ability to adjust and focus.

Work Environment:

This position operates in both maintenance and customer-facing environments. The noise level is usually moderate with occasional high volume during aircraft arrivals and departures. The pilot will be frequently exposed to vibrations and may occasionally encounter fuel fumes. The pilot must be willing to work in varying weather conditions. Hangar environments may experience extreme temperatures.
