Thrive Aviation is seeking an experienced HondaJet HA-420 Captain to oversee safe and efficient aircraft operations. This role is based remotely and involves leading flight crews, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring strict adherence to aviation regulations.

About the Role

The Captain is primarily responsible for the safe and efficient ground and in-flight operation of the HondaJet HA-420. This position involves leading assigned flight crews, mentoring First Officers, and maintaining effective communication with dispatch, maintenance, administration, leadership, customers, and crew. The Captain ensures compliance with all FAA regulations, the company's General Operations Manual, operational specifications, and department procedures. The role may require extended periods away from home, irregular hours, and managing short-notice flight assignments or cancellations. Administrative responsibilities are directed towards the Chief Pilot.

Requirements

• Minimum 3,000 hours of fixed-wing total time.
• Minimum 1,500 hours of total Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time.
• Minimum 500 hours of total turbine time.
• Valid US Passport.
• Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate (Unrestricted or Restricted).
• FCC Radio License.
• Current, valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Eligibility to fly internationally without restrictions.
• Residency within two hours of a major airport.

Qualifications and Experience

• HondaJet HA-420 type rating is not specified but is a significant asset.
• Experience in mentoring First Officers is essential.
• Proven ability to anticipate customer needs and exceed expectations.
