Thrive Aviation | First Officer

Thrive Aviation is seeking a Las Vegas-based First Officer (FO) to support safe and efficient aircraft operations. This role involves flight safety, regulatory compliance, customer service, and coordination with various departments. The position requires significant flight hours and operational experience.

About the Role

The First Officer is administratively accountable to the Chief Pilot and holds primary responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft, both on the ground and in flight. The role necessitates anticipating customer needs and aiming to surpass expectations. Duties include adherence to FAA regulations, Thrive's GOM, Operational Specifications, and departmental operating procedures. Effective communication and coordination with assigned crew, dispatch, maintenance, and administration are essential. Additional duties may be assigned by management or senior leadership.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2,500 hours of total flight time.
• At least 500 hours of multi-engine flight experience.
• Prior experience with overwater, long-haul, and international missions.
• Experience providing a high level of guest service to high-profile clients, maintaining discretion and confidentiality.
• Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
• Possession of a Pilot Certificate.
• Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Permit.
• Valid, non-expired US Passport.
• Eligibility to fly internationally into any country or jurisdiction without restrictions.
• COVID-19 vaccination due to international travel requirements.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to embrace new challenges and adapt to company growth.
• Readiness for irregular schedules, extended periods away from home, and potential short-notice flight assignments or cancellations.
• Residency within two hours of specified airports, with a strong preference for candidates residing in Las Vegas (LAS).

Qualifications

• A current type rating in the applied aircraft is highly desired but not required.
