First Officer - Thrive Aviation
Thrive Aviation seeks a skilled and dedicated First Officer to join our team, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to exceeding customer expectations while maintaining clear and effective communication with colleagues, leadership, and dispatch.
Responsibilities:
- Reports administratively to the Chief Pilot.
- Primarily responsible for safe and efficient ground and in-flight aircraft operations.
- Anticipates and exceeds customer needs.
- Adheres to FAA regulations, Thrive’s General Operating Manual (GOM), Operational Specifications, and departmental operating procedures.
- Maintains effective communication and coordination with assigned crew, dispatch, maintenance, and administration.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management or senior leadership.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- 1,000 hours of Fixed Wing Total Time
- 500 hours of Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Total Time
- Valid US Passport (non-expired)
- Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi/Instrument Rating
- FCC Radio License
- Current, valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate
- Excellent communication skills.
- Eligibility for unrestricted international travel.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and embrace new challenges.
- Residency within 2 hours of KLAS or one of Thrive Aviation's remote Crew Bases.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1,500+ hours of Fixed Wing Total Time
- 50+ hours of Multi-Engine Time
- 500 hours of Total Turbine Time
- Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate
- Previous experience in Corporate Aviation/Part 135 Charter
- Current type rating for aircraft within our fleet.
Physical Requirements:
- Must possess and maintain a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- Ability to maintain a seated position in a confined space for extended periods.
Work Environment:
- The role primarily involves prolonged periods of sitting.
- The employee will interact with customers and other flight crew in a confined space.
- Extended travel, including overnight stays away from home, is expected.
- The employee may be required to work irregular hours and receive short-notice calls regarding flight assignments or cancellations.
