Role Overview

The Disney Aviation Group is seeking a highly skilled and professional Pilot Captain to join an innovative team of aviation experts. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and effective operation of corporate aircraft, contributing to global business objectives by providing timely and secure transportation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as Pilot-in-Command for worldwide flight operations.
  • Operate company aircraft in strict compliance with domestic and international laws, regulations, company policies, and aviation standard operating procedures.
  • Conduct comprehensive risk evaluations for all flight missions.
  • Ensure organizational competitiveness by facilitating efficient, global transportation.
  • Complete assigned administrative duties, projects, and utilize company resources effectively to enhance flight operation efficiency.

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Jet Captain with an FAR Part 91 or 135 Operator.
  • Current and qualified as a Pilot-in-Command in a multi-engine business jet aircraft.
  • Minimum of 4,000 hours total flying time.
  • Minimum of 2,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command in multi-engine turbojet aircraft.
  • Possession of a current FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with a multi-engine rating and at least one business jet type rating.
  • Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.

Additional Qualifications

  • Operational experience with international flight requirements.
  • Proficiency with glass-cockpit instrumentation.
  • Previous experience operating Gulfstream aircraft.
  • General computer literacy and software proficiency.
  • Foreign language skills are considered an asset.

Compensation and Benefits

The hiring range for this position in California is $247,900 to $332,400 per year. Actual base pay is determined by factors including internal equity, geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Eligible candidates may receive a bonus and/or long-term incentive units, alongside a comprehensive benefits package including medical and financial offerings.
