Pilot Captain - Corporate Aviation
Job Summary
The Disney Aviation Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pilot Captain to join its team of aviation professionals. The Pilot Captain plays a crucial role in supporting the organization by providing safe and effective corporate aircraft operations. Responsibilities
The Pilot Captain will be responsible for acting as Pilot-in-Command for worldwide flight operations. Key duties include:
- Serving as Pilot-in-Command for diverse flight missions across the globe.
- Operating company aircraft safely and effectively, conducting thorough risk assessments, and ensuring strict adherence to domestic and international laws, regulations, company policies, and aviation standard operating procedures.
- Facilitating timely and safe transportation on a worldwide scale to support company business objectives.
- Completing assigned administrative duties and projects as directed.
- Utilizing company resources and materials responsibly and efficiently.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement and increased efficiency of flight operations.
Basic Qualifications
Prospective candidates should meet the following minimum requirements:
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Jet Captain with an FAR Part 91 or Part 135 operator.
- Currently qualified as Pilot-in-Command in a multi-engine business jet aircraft with the following flight hours:
- 4000 hours total flying time.
- 2000 hours multi-engine turbojet aircraft as Pilot-In-Command.
- Hold a current FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with a multi-engine rating.
- Possess at least one type rating in a business jet aircraft.
- Maintain a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
Additional Qualifications
Candidates possessing the following qualifications will be highly regarded:
- Experience in international flight operations.
- Proficiency with glass cockpit avionics systems.
- Experience operating Gulfstream aircraft.
- Knowledge of a foreign language is a plus.
- Proficiency in using computers and general computer software.

Compensation: The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $244,200 to $327,400 per year. Compensation offered will consider internal equity, geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package may include a bonus and/or long-term incentive units, along with comprehensive medical, financial, and other benefits based on the position level.
