Skyryse is seeking a skilled Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic to join their team in El Segundo/Hawthorne, California. This role involves supporting all aircraft maintenance operations, with a specific focus on rotary-wing aircraft, including the R66 and R44 models, and experimental aircraft. The A&P Mechanic will be instrumental in ensuring all maintenance activities adhere to FAA compliance guidelines and regulations, contributing to Skyryse's mission of a new era in flight with enhanced safety and accessibility.
About the Role

Execute scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on rotorcraft and experimental aircraft.

Conduct detailed inspections and verifications of aircraft systems to ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and operational standards before flight.

Maintain accurate documentation and records of all repairs, maintenance, inspections, and reports related to aircraft maintenance.

Interpret and apply maintenance manuals, engineering specifications, and technical data for precise repairs and component replacements.

Collaborate with technicians, pilots, engineers, and other team members on modifications and repairs.

Support fleet upgrades and the integration of new technologies to enhance aircraft systems and safety.

Perform other duties as assigned to support flight operations and organizational objectives.
Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.

Helicopter maintenance experience.

Experience with rotary-wing aircraft, specifically the R66 and/or R44 (Rolls Royce engines).

A minimum of 5 years of experience supporting aircraft maintenance.

FAA A&P Certification.

Must be a U.S. Person per ITAR.
Preferred Qualifications

Trade school or military training in aircraft maintenance.

Robinson maintenance course completion.

FAA Inspection Authorization certification.

8+ years of experience supporting aircraft maintenance.

Experience with avionics and wiring.
