The Bionetics Corporation is seeking a Pilot to join our aviation team based in Omaha, NE.
Bionetics is a national government services contractor specializing in Life Science, Aviation and Engineering with locations nationwide. JOB DESCRIPTION:
The pilot is responsible for all flight preparation, the performance, maintenance and conduct of the aircraft and crew, as well as ensuring all full and final authority decisions while conducting flight operations.
QUALIFICATIONS, REQUIREMENTS AND EDUCATION
1. Must possess an Airline Transportation Pilot license (ATP) in type.
2. Must possess or be able to obtain a type rating specifically for the Fairchild SA227-DC Metroliner (Merlin IV).
3. A minimum of 500 hours of experience in turbine powered aircraft.
4. Pilots shall have and maintain at least an FAA 2nd Class Medical Certificate.
5. Pilots shall maintain a domicile within a 2-hour commute (approximately 120 miles) from the COE hangar facility in Omaha NE.
6. Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to acquire and maintain all necessary DoD security clearances.
7. Must pass a flight check, by a commercial flight facility or a designated qualified check pilot before initial operation of aircraft.
8. Must have a solid demonstrated ability to work well with others, especially within small tight work environments and have good interpersonal communication skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Perform duties as pilot flying or pilot monitoring, as assigned by Chief Pilot
Must maintain currency in all assigned aircraft
All other tasks as assigned by a supervisor
As an Aircraft Pilot he/she will be responsible for:
- the through preparation for each flight, with particular attention to Safety, passenger comfort and schedule
- Assuming full responsibility for the airworthiness and condition of the aircraft assigned. This shall include:
Interior cleanliness
supplies, equipment, snacks, and drinks for passenger comfort
flight itinerary, flight logbook, and appropriate flight documents
Assure full authority and final decision during flight
Assume full command of assigned crew
Ensure that he/she is aware of all current applicable regulations, NOTAMS, and Aircraft Operational Limitations
Perform additional ancillary duties as assigned by the Chief Pilot
