JOB SUMMARY

Textron Corporate Aviation is seeking a Captain to crew a Citation Longitude and X+ in support of its operations at Textron Corporate. This role offers exciting opportunities, including training for a Citation X+ type rating, and rewarding challenges. The person selected will join a team of passionate, high caliber aviators, maintenance and operations staff and should be a self-starter, team player, and professionally driven. The Captain/PIC will be responsible for the safe and efficient operations of company aircraft while maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations, rules, directives, company procedures, and aircraft flight manuals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as PIC/Co-Captain on company aircraft
  • Responsible for the safe and efficient use of assigned aircraft.
  • Maintain a high level of communication with all team members.
  • Maintain a superior level of operational knowledge of the department to maintain proper adherence to SOPs.
  • Support a positive work environment and open avenues of communication.
  • Discusses operational concerns with team members to improve efficiency.
  • Keep up to date on airplane/equipment manufacturers and government regulations affecting flight operations to ensure that company manuals adhere to legal requirements and are adapted to type of aircraft in use.
  • Participate in the department’s Safety Management System ongoing evolution to improve overall safety and efficiency.
  • Represent the company at all times in a professional manor.
  • Must have the ability and willingness to work irregular schedules as assigned and to support other Textron Inc., divisions.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Commercial Pilot Certificate or Airline Transport Pilot Certificate (Multi-Engine)
  • Current First-Class FAA Medical Certificate
  • Prefer a minimum of 2500 total flight hours
  • Prefer a minimum of 500 fixed-wing turbine hours
  • Jet aircraft Pilot-in-command skills
  • Experience with corporate flight operations
  • Knowledge of Safety Management System Implementation
  • International flight experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
